dms management opens Hong Kong office

Feb 21, 2011 by Martin Leonard

Management firm dms has opened an office in Hong Kong. The office will help provide real-time services for the company’s Asia-Pacific clients.

It also hopes the new office will strengthen the relationship between Hong Kong and Cayman service providers. The Hong Kong team is to be led by director David Lyons.

He will oversee all aspects of client service delivery across multiple product lines for the region. He will also be involved in spearheading business development in Hong Kong. Lyons was previously a senior associate at dms’ Cayman office.

Hong Kong and Singapore are fast becoming locations of choice for some hedge fund managers as European and US regulation start to bite. Many fund managers have welcomed the tough but flexible regulations in these Asia-Pacific jurisdictions.
