Charles Bathurst is a consultant to the board of SuMi TRUST Global Asset Services. Charles graduated from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in 1974 serving as an Officer in the British Army before leaving to spend eight years in the engineering industry, initially with GKN on their military vehicle division. In 1988 Charles moved to the City of London where he worked in international financial and commodity markets for GNI and moved to Credit Agricole in 1995 to found their alternative investment management group. In 1998 he established Credit Agricole Asset Management in London becoming Managing Director. In 2004 Charles moved to Old Mutual Asset Managers becoming International Sales and Marketing Director and in 2008 joined J O Hambro Investment Management Limited as Director and Head of their internal Fund Management Group. During his career Charles has been responsible for initiating and managing to profitability new businesses, multiple product launches and building distribution channels in more than 40 countries globally. Today he is a consultant to the board of SuMi TRUST Global Asset Services to build their commercial growth globally ex Japan.

 
Clive Snowdon has over twenty years’ experience providing strategic, operational and transformational leadership in the financial services industry with strong expertise in fund management. He has set up two hedge fund managers from inception covering operational, legal, financial and compliance areas followed by three years as COO of Gottex Fund Management Sarl, one of the largest fund of hedge funds managers in Europe based in Lausanne, where assets grew from under USD1bn to nearly USD7bn during his tenure. Subsequently Clive became CEO of the alternatives fund administration business of Credit Suisse in Guernsey with USD60bn of assets under administration & middle office and 170 staff. More latterly he was been the Group Managing Director of an offshore fund management and administration business with offices in Jersey, Tokyo and Isle of Man.

 
Dariush Yazdani leads the Market Research Institute within PwC Luxembourg. He has more than 18 years of experience in the wealth management and banking industry. Dariush has led and contributed to various research and thought leadership studies for external clients and in support of other PwC Units. Client assignments include consulting governmental and private organisations on their positioning within the internationalisation of RMB. Further assignments include development of market entry studies and strategies for multiple global and regional asset managers, product and fee benchmarking reports as well as reports for the EU Commission. He has co-led the thought leadership report on Africa Asset Management 2020 and was member of the editorial board of the Asset Management 2020 report. He holds a MBA from the University of Chicago, GSB.

 

 
Morten Bentsen works within Business Development at LCP. Morten joined from Barclays Capital London where he served for 9 years as Managing Director in Institutional Distribution responsible for client businesses within European Credit Sales and Prime Services Origination. Prior to this Morten spent 15 years at BNP Paribas responsible for Fixed Income Sales across Scandinavia, Official Institutions and North America. He was based in New York City from 1993-1998 where he was a member of BNP Paribas US Executive committee. Morten holds a BSc in Economics from Copenhagen Business School.
